| The News Of The World 'phone hacking scandal just gets better and better. My favourite story of last week was the news that infamous innocent Brazilian electrician "shooter" Cressida Dick has indicated that the police are looking into the possibility of a criminal investigation in relation to comments made by Rebekah Brooks, News International chief executive, in 2003. Yes, the police, with their fingers well and truly on the pulse, are thinking about investigating some comments made 8 years ago. Just to clarify, Rebekah Brooks sat in front of a committee of MPs and made the astonishing admission that the News Of The World newspaper paid police for information. This was picked up on by one of the MPs as decidedly illegal and Andy Coulson quickly stepped in to correct his colleagues mealy mouthed confession with phrases like "within the law". Obviously Rebekah now has absolutely no memory of any individual cases and, I am sure, very little evidence of the same (if she has any sense). Like so much else of this sorry tale of British tabloids in bed with the police and MPs, it is just laughable. Andy Coulson never knew anything about the whole affair. Neither did Rupert Murdoch. The police obviously made a full investigation when they prosecuted just two individuals first time. David Cameron clearly knew nothing about any of this when he employed Coulson... And maybe Cressida left it so long because she's on Rebekah's pay roll. What a shower of shit. Another one in five parts. Stick the parts back together with HJSplit and then decrypt and decompress with 7zip.
