Did this come with a tape? I have very vague recollection of buying a fanzine with a tape that included the screaming dead along with ausgang and other bands i've forgotten. Certainly remember the artwork that went with the screaming dead. Have their 12 inch "danse macabre" in front of me now. Too many saxaphones at the time if I remember correctly. Splendid blog though!

Your memory sounds like mine anonymous: "very vague"! :)

There wasn't a tape with this but there was a flexi with issue 3 which, I think, was the first to give out such stuff. Unfortunately I don't have the flexi having bought both no1 and no3 years after the event.

But I did post the 'Bring Out Yer Dead' compilation a few years ago if you're interested. Don't know if the links are still current...

Ok, sussed it now the tape I had of them was "Children of the boneyard stones" must have been thinking of that. I wonder what the other fanzine was? I know it had ausgang on it as its what got me hooked on them. I think it had a track from colorbox too with snippets of the film westworld in it possibly an early version of their track "just give em whisky"

Nope. Scratch that. That cassette was "dreams and desires" so not that one. Just rambling now lol.

Wasn't it Grim Humour that gave away copies of Furyo's (Abbo's band after UKDK) unreleased album. Been trying to track this "LP" down for years. Also a rumour that it was actually issued in Japan!. Anybody help with this, or even better upload a copy?

Seaside Moz

I can only say 'allegedly' Seaside Moz as I own neither that copy of Grim Humour nor a copy of the tape :( But the Furyo pages at UK Decay's site appear to confirm the rumour and even give the 'album' a track listing so it must be out there somewhere...
