It is always disappointing, as a Blogger, when some anonymous or other leaves a comment clearly in disagreement with my own point of view, receives a lengthy response and then fails to follow it up.In this case I gave 'anon' two responses and the choice of responding to either or both - I clearly hadn't considered the option of a complete lack of response which was a bit remiss. One was rude in a similar manner to the original comment and the second was more considered. I had hoped to enjoy a healthy debate but sadly, no. Surely if blogging is about anything then it has to be at least partially two-way? Otherwise it boils down to me spouting off with nobody challenging or asking questions or even vaguely participating.
Anyway, in the first response I directed 'anon' to a blog called 'spEak You're bRanes' (which I must have highlighted before but can't recall) as they had suggested, if I like socialism so much, that I go and live in North Korea. Pointing out the similarity of that statement and the URL of spEak You're bRanes - ifyoulikeitsomuchwhydontyougolivethere.com - was too good an opportunity to miss. The blog exists purely to extract the maximum amount of urine from those deluded souls who populate the crowded, yet lonely and desolate, (cyber)space that is the BBC's Have Your Say message boards and I felt, perhaps harshly, that 'anon' would be right at home there.
Now spEak You're bRanes is good but to really get down and dirty with the committed HYS'ers, you have to tap into the source direct. For an excruciating high you need an injection of pure blended hatred, bile, racism and xenophobia coursing through your synapses. I find that if you then top this heady mix with a joint comprising the odd voice of sanity amidst the anger then it takes the edge off a little. So unzip your belt and get it round your arm, start tapping those veins (or the keyboard will do) and prepare for your first hit. Todays special: 'Is the government doing enough to cut knife crime?' This one's on the house but if you need anymore, you know where to come and who to ask for...

Well its always good to find someone else to blame! The problems in this country are not in the most part down to immigrants but greedy corporations fleecing the tax payer and a lot of our home grown hooligans who have no respect for themselves or others and are unable to contribute to the great collective that makes up our society.
However yes maybe immigration needs to be controlled but what are the reasons people try to come to this country ? Problems in there home country corrupt politicians who have been previously helped by western governments as they werent "communist", and greedy corporations who make millions at the expense of the third world.
If we reform the system maybe just maybe we could make things better here and abroad as tbh given the crappy weather we get here I am sure there are nicer parts of the world to live!
