Somebody Died Today

Somebody died today.

So did 25000 other people.

At least he didn't die of hunger.

He was newsworthy.

They were not. Why? Because a similar number of people will die from hunger again tomorrow. And the day after. And the day after that...

When it happens every day, it's hardly newsworthy is it?

yeah, well not just somebody died. somebody who "revolutionized the music business" as i've been told endlessly over the past 24 hours. and yeah, he sure did. he made us pay for every fucking second he filled the airwaves.

the ultimate personal commodification of talent regardless of your/mine opinion of his other crimes.

Anon #1 do you even know what commodification means? It's the ultimate heartlessness, ... something that MJ embraced with every fibre of his being. Too bad you bought it, hook - line - & sinker.

Lol God, I thought this was the one place I could escape The MJ story....

Although, all the fuss over his death is getting a tad annoying,so its worth a good ol rant I suppose ;P

Oh look..... King Kurt !
